HavenWood is a family run organisation ensuring continuous personal attention to detail for all our residents. Haven Wood ‘village' is purpose-built and comprises one- and two-bedroom, architect-designed private houses and apartments ideal for ‘ active retirement' and ‘independent living'.
 
Haven Wood plan for the Ballygunner project is to develop and operate a model village that far surpasses the ‘normal', both in terms of the services & facilities available and the excellence with which they are delivered. It allows for a variety of retired and older people to live in a safe community with extensive healthcare & recreational facilities, heretofore unavailable.
 
The whole idea of living the Haven Wood lifestyle is to be independent & active whilst at the same time being part of a secure community, where you will make new friends and have neighbours and care staff that you can call upon if needed.

  The village has its own Hairdressers, Physiotherapy Room, Health/Leisure Activities, Library, Internet Café, Social/Community Areas, Concourse Area and Multi-denominational Prayer Room.
  Wardens who attend to all general and grounds maintenance - essentially rendering the houses maintenance-free. The wardens are available, during set hours, to meet your requests for collection from, or deliveries to the local town, as well as being available to chauffeur you to and from local appointments and general shopping trips.
